2020 OUTSIDE FOUNDATION OYSTER BAGGING

Van Landingham Rotary was proud to volunteer time and manpower working with The Outside Foundation to bag oyster shells on Wednesday, November 18th at Honey Horn Plantation . The Club's team was spearheaded by Board Member Creighton Stuckart who was joined by Kevin Courtney, John Cunningham, Lynn KIng, Kristin Keller and Suzi Oliver. In just an hour. the effort accomplished 102 bags of oyster shells. These recycled shells, planted along our local waterways, will provide a much needed attachment site for 10,000 larval osysters and a habitat for larval fin fish, shrimp and crab.
