Announcements:
Greg Wynn, Sonny Huntley and Eric Schmidt attended the District 7770 Conference in Charleston 3/22 to 3/23. They had positive feedback, said it was well run and informative and encouraged members to consider attending in the future.
Volunteers are still needed to work at our Heritage booth- Contact Joe Rowey to sign up for the food tent and John Farrenkopf for the popcorn wagon.

Bruce Yeager, Director and Membership chair inducted three new members. The are: Lee Carulli, sponsored by Joah Etchells; Jesse Baker, sponsored by Lynn King; Corey Smith, sponsored by Ray Warco. Make sure to meet them and welcome them to our family of Rotary.

The Vision of the BCEDC it the collaborative entity for organizing, structuring and leading economic development efforts on behalf of Beaufort County's residents. Its Mission is to achieve this vision by engaging key stakeholders to diversify the county's economy, attract investments and well-paying jobs. The mission will be carried out in a way that is respectful of the environment. All spokes of the wheel are important but environmental spoke is number one. The second most important is education. The work plan drives the budget. 92% of investment comes from companies already in our location. The key to our availability of skilled labor is the we have transitioning military in the area.
